Our Process
Your Healing Journey
This journey unfolds one step at a time—rooted in compassion, patience, and the belief that healing is possible.
-
Fill out the application to attend a retreat in Puerto Vallarta. Applicants must be current or retired:
Firefighter
Law Enforcement
Emergency Medical Services
Dispatch
Search and Rescue
Spouse/family of first responder
Verification is required.
-
Once your application has been received, S.I.R.E.N. will contact you to coordinate an intake interview.
Upon successfully clearing your intake, your name will be added to a wait list for the next available retreat.
-
Qualified applicants are required to consult with S.I.R.E.N.’s medical provider and submit requested medical/health information.
-
S.I.R.E.N. will provide qualified applicants with a preparation guide. Applicants are expected to work through the guide which includes communication with a coach, as well as steps for mental, physical and spiritual preparations. Also included is a diet plan and wellness exercises.
-
S.I.R.E.N. will provide travel dates, times and locations as well as preferred lodging recommendations for travel planning. Applicants are responsible for their own airfare, transportation (taxi, Uber) and hotel in Puerto Vallarta. This includes one night stay before heading to the retreat center. Additional nights post retreat are optional but recommended.
-
Transportation to and from the retreat center, food, and lodging are provided for participants of the retreat.
-
Integration is the process of carrying the healing benefits from your retreat into everyday life, using practical tools to make those changes lasting and sustainable.
Participants who successfully complete this process will be considered S.I.R.E.N. Alumni.
Alumni will participate in 2 post retreat online video conference calls, hosted by retreat facilitator and also participate in 2 post retreat integration calls with their assigned coach.
Alumni will gain access to the S.I.R.E.N. Alumni community. The hope is that alumni will include service in their integration. Volunteering and/or donating funds are both acts of gratitude and an integral part of personal healing. Those who serve deepen their own integration while supporting others.
