Newsletter- Summer 2026
Quarterly Newsletter | Summer 2026
Dear Friends,
As we reflect on this past quarter, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the incredible
community that continues to stand beside The S.I.R.E.N. Project. Because of your generosity,
compassion, and belief in our mission, we continue to provide life-changing healing experiences
for first responders and their spouses.
By the end of 2026, nearly 180 first responders and spouses will have participated in one of our
retreats. That number represents far more than attendees—it represents lives changed,
relationships restored, and hope renewed.
Every retreat reminds us that healing is possible, especially when a community comes together to
support those who have spent their careers serving others.
A Change in Plans
After careful consideration, we made the difficult decision to cancel this year's Gala due to
insufficient ticket sales.
While we are disappointed that we won't have the opportunity to gather together in person, our
Online Auction will continue as planned, and we hope you'll help make it a tremendous
success. Please visit the 415 Auction to register and bid on some amazing items.Online Auction
Opens: August 10, 2026
Closes: September 10, 2026
Every bid directly supports future retreats and helps ensure that first responders and their spouses
can continue receiving the healing they deserve.
Whether you bid, make a donation, or simply share the auction with friends and family, you
become part of someone's healing journey.
Even so, The S.I.R.E.N. Project remains committed to keeping our retreats as accessible as
Keeping Our Retreats Accessible
Like many nonprofit organizations, we continue to face rising costs while charitable giving has
declined.
possible.
Many comparable first responder wellness retreats now cost participants between $7,000 and
$10,000. Thanks to careful stewardship and countless hours of behind-the-scenes work, we have
been able to keep the total cost of our retreats to approximately $5,000 per participant.
Beginning in 2027, participants will be asked to contribute $2,500 toward their retreat, while
donor support continues to cover the remaining half.
Retreat Value: $5,000
Participant Contribution (2027): $2,500
Provided Through Donor Support: $2,500
Our goal has always been simple: finances should never be the reason someone cannot begin
their healing journey. Every dollar donated helps us continue making these retreats available to
those who need them most.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Andrea, whose dedication and thoughtful
management continue to keep costs down without compromising the sacred nature of these
retreats. Because of her tireless efforts, participants receive an exceptional experience that
remains both deeply meaningful and financially accessible.December AYA Retreat
We still have a few openings for our upcoming AYA Retreat.
Dates: November 30 – December 7, 2026
Retreat Cost: $5,000
If you know a first responder who is ready to begin their healing journey, we encourage you to
